Turning
Alongside our high quality turning capabilities, Aeroforma Technologies also boasts a suite of mill/turn machines which utilise driven tooling, twin spindles and bar feeds to facilitate volume component manufacture in a “lights-out” environment and reduction in required operations. Air-cooled lathes are also utilised to produce glass-reinforced nylon bushes which are used in various airframe assemblies.
Milling
Whether it is small rigid pipe fittings, complex 5-axis machining, or trimming of components produced on our class-leading Quintus fluid cell and hydroform press, we have a range of 3, 4 and 5-axis machines to complete the task.
Our stable of milling machines offer a wide variety of speed, power, axes, and machining envelopes, to ensure we have the right machine tool for every part we manufacture. We can effectively machine tooling steel (as part of our in-house press tool manufacturing capability) on one hand, and utilise spindle speeds upward of 10,000 rpm to efficiently produce aluminium components and complete “light touch” operations.
